Located just steps away from Woodlawn Cemetery, on a bustling corner sits this small gem which reminded me of my grandma's old house. It's hard to believe this place is completely untouched by vandals, given it's proximity to several apartment complexes and mini malls. I really enjoyed this explore, but it was a little risky getting in and out due to its high visibility. Inside were many charming features, not too much in the way of memorabilia, but enough to indicate it was a rental. I found mail addressed to several people with different last names. Overall clean and in it's infancy for decay. There is an office complex slated to be built on this lot. Named "9 Lives" because I was feeling lucky enough to attempt the basement on this one (and for the address).

I drove past it so many times myself and only noticed it because of the snowed driveway last winter. In plain view, but still a pretty private visit.

It seemed risky at first, but once I saw the snow pack on the front stairs and NO people prints anywhere on the grounds I felt pretty secure. These wartime houses are easy peasy, no wells, plus I really am invisible...except for my hand.

Oh THIS place...lol didn't recognize it at first. We dicked around here last year but it appeared someone was still half using it for office space. The writing was on the wall though. Didn't take one picture.

just wear a safety vest and a hard hat... no one would be the wiser... thinking you are from a construction company looking over the place :) worked for me several times...

Had to do a double-take at the last pic and go back to the beginning again to see if that was really the house. That was indeed risky! Neat entry... you just never know until you get close and try. Translation: getting off the sidewalk.
