John's Cherry

Demolished House in Lincoln, Ontario, Canada

This small 2 story house is located at the corner of John St. and Cherry Ave. This whole stretch of country is aptly named for numerous cherry trees in the area, with one prominently growing in the front yard of this location. The lawn is cut by someone, most likely whoever is tending the field out back. Overall this was an easy explore, with minimal raccoon scat inside, and some nice decay. Despite the exposure, I was not bothered here. There are two neighboring homes visible from here, which makes the magazine I found more than a little creepy :S

Good point. I thought this might have been the case as well, and approached with caution. The Spanish frames inside might be indicative of this being a former migrant house.

I've been down all these backroads walking my dog when I visit my folks in Vineland. There are many houses here not abandoned but rather used for seasonal workers each year.

The busted north facing windows gave it away, but other than that, you're right, which is why I made it FM. I'd hate to see it boarded, the light is wonderful inside.

Sure doesn't look abandoned from the outside. Well.... not decaying, anyway. Good eye!
