How to find abandoned places?

If you're riding in a vehicle, look out the window and observe the surrounding buildings. Check for signs of dilapidation: overgrown lawns, smashed/boarded windows, graffiti, rusted vehicles left on the driveway, etc.

Also do satellite aerial view on google maps and look for strange structures, buildings hidden deep in forests, and broken roofs. That’s how I generally find mine.
