I am 18 years old and located in SK. SK is known to be one of if not the worst province when it comes to large abandonded buildings. I know of many abanonded farm yards and have explored one 25,000sq ft plus complex. I am looking for someone in SK that has some experience with exploring and knows of some of their own spots to explore with and show my spots to.

i know its deadly and everything but thats not what im mainly worried. about im worried about how i cant find jack crap in this city i cant find any abandoned manufacturing plants I can't find any abandoned house this cities to "clean" atleast they keep it clean in the obvious spots maybe im not looking deep enough

Seeking Exploration Companions

Indian backpacker (34/F) here in Toronto, leaving by the end of February. Since I’m visiting a foreign country, I love making the most of all the unique and unusual experiences this place has to offer. In my country, exploring abandoned places isn’t very common, but I’ve watched videos about it and would love to try it at least once in my lifetime before leaving. If anyone has plans for such activities and is okay with it, please consider including me. I’m also interested in paranormal exploration, but I couldn’t find any specific sites. if you have ideas for any adrenaline-rush activities, I’d love to hear about them. We only live once, right? Thanks!

Experienced Explorer tired of solo runs

Looking for friends interested in the same thing as me exploring. Im located In the "Torornto-Ottawa Corridor" Im good with any age above 18 and if you can keep your cool if things got hairy ie Homeless, Police, Hazards and fears. A little bit about me. My name is Dom and I was Born in the "Corridor" Which is slang for Kingston and have had the traviling blues since I was 5 or so. Im very good with Wildlife and spent alot of my life doing my own time rehabing wild animals (Raccoons, Street dogs, Birds, Mice and a Fox) I also have my First-aid and Confined space training so Im Prepared for Hazards I like being in hotzones for the rush of it but im also good for any level of danger, Im just tired of the stress it also brings being solo. Have car will travel I really really want to Explore a mine but won't do it alone just in case I get injured down there and die without a chance for help or rescue and to wrap this up I just want to say I will leave if there is any Birch tree inside the Building, Ruin or Complex we are in for past reasons

Hi there ! ive been doing a lot of looking into the exploring and it really piques my interest ! im 25 and have a pretty decent understanding of what it is and the precautions involved but would love to go with someone experienced, or someone newer that we could figure it out together . im not hesitant to get supplies and equipment needed as i plan to do this more often in the future. if theres anyone in the same boat or someone that doesnt mind a little less experience please let me know

So, knowing myself, i should take precautions and think BEFORE i go out and get killed. I'll get the precise information on them, but lack the general list of stuff that saved your ass, such as: - When to wear a mask/bring an air gauge, when exploring tunnels? Thinking water drains at the moment, think it's safe, but later? - What location types (military, energy production, ?) are most likely to get me arrested? - Does wearing a facemask help? What's the best defense; does "huh, didn't know, sorry!" work sometimes? - I saw some doing drone reconnaissance before going, doesn't that get you undesired attention? Also... - What can be googled (ideas?): I think municipal sewer/drain maps; abandoned building filings at city halls (?); local bankrupcy/mergers/acquisitions notices, electric network [historical?] maps to spot isolated sites in the woods? - Should I keep new construction sites out of bounds, as they are likely to get me arrested? Yeah, so after I get my feet wet and post something, I'll tell you how that went. Cheers! P.

Just thought I'd introduce myself to the community! I'm an analogue horror and urbex enthusiast, I have an older Palmcorder which I like to take to the spookier places around St. Thomas, but once I get my full license hopefully in December I'd like to check out and film some more locations maybe in London or other places around me. I'll be popping by the discord server as well, so if you spot me I'm free to chat about obsolete tech or the like! I do just have one question though I wasn't able to find an answer to in the FAQ, how long until I'm able to add a location or album? One of the requirements for level 2 is by contributing via making an album or such, and I wanted to work my way towards that.

Silo postings?

I wanted to make this thread to understand what people think about the posting of a sole silo. I personally find them interesting, despite them essentially just being a large cylindrical concrete object, and so have been to a few with intentions to visit more. Some of them are climbable and are therefore more interesting, with the main aspect of the post being focused more of the views and such offered rather than the silo itself sometimes. They are abandoned, though I wanted to check whether this is considered "filler" by the majority of people.

I stumbled across such an interesting abandoned place today, it was such a beautiful find. When I got home I decided to look into it and I came to OAP like I have for many years and I get asked for money to be able to find out about this place. Are you kidding me? I have since deleted all of my content from here that I possibly could. It was sad doing it but so nice going through so many great memories of so many beautiful places. Some that were suggested to me from Rick Cooper when he and his wife would see places in my area as they were passing along in their boat and would message me so enthusiastically that I just had to go check these places out. Of course I always would. Which contributed to many locations on this site from the beginning of it all. I remember so many ups and downs through the years and many many great people who I have met along the way. To be asked for money to have full access to this site after all this time and contribution is so insulting. I am saying goodbye and enjoy the last 19 locations I wasn't able to erase. Explore safely and responsibly friends xo -itsme
