Good job!

Well worth the visit, but people aren't kidding about the "quicksand"! I recommend tightly tied boots for this exploration.

House is still there (Sept. 2017). Didn't have long pants or a proper light during my visit, so I didn't explore much of the grounds or inside the house. :(

Hmmm.......... I'm in that area tomorrow. Might have to take a peek!

Finally got to visit this location! Pardon my poor photo quality. Between an old I-Phone, improper footwear and the bugs the quality is awful! The rest of my week was rainy, so I didn't get a chance to return with better equipment. The next time I'm in the area, I'll be better equipped. This site is well worth the visit.

Check out the Hyde Mill Ruins albums. I took close ups of it when it wasn't so overgrown. It's actually a 1970's Ford sedan. I keep meaning to return and take a picture of the VIN on the dashboard so I can learn the exact make and model. Elkiman.
