With this building starting construction in 1920, it was bought in 1947 branded "Lees Food Products", which was a soy sauce factory. This business still carries on this day as they moved their establishment to Scarborough in 2020, though that doesn't stop the 8 story tall building soon to replace it. This was my first abandoned place, which is why there's not a great variety of pictures since I wasn't familliar with this website back then. It was an above average climb for me considering the city has already put measures in place to keep urbexers out, but they didn't completely block off some entrances. This building was pretty packed with objects related to a soy sauce factory, and was very well presevered in comparison to other places I've been to since then. I didn't focus on the objects too much, but there was a lot of bottles, a ton of machinery, a bunch of buckets, etc. We were also able to get onto the roofs, except for the tallest part of the building to the far left. Though since my visit, I've been alerted that the city has placed fencing around the facility. I have yet to know if it is still possible to get inside but I have ideas. Again I know and apologize for no exterior photos, and not very good nor variety of interior photos, though I hope this only album can be an exception considering at the time I was not familliar with how this website functioned and was not in my interest of taking pictures. I hope to post a lot more from now on!
