History

I was pretty stumped when I attempted to find history regarding this location. The only bit of valuable information I could find was on an old post, where it was said to have been built in 1948 for the Allbright Corp. of Canada- a producer of flaslights and cigarette lighters.

Aside from this limited information, there really wasn't much else online, aside from old listings of price. On January 2005, the building was listed, and then delisted on April 8, 2005, when I can only assume it was bought. In April 2013, the laneway behind the property was closed by request of the private corporation that owned the property, with the purpose to redevelop the property. However, clearly nothing has happened on that front since. Despite these transactional changes on the property, it's sat vacant since at least 2007 (from the earliest Google Maps street view available). Despite the very rare maintenance, such as painted over graffiti and occasionally fixing of windows, very little has changed on this property in the last 20 years or so- just the wear and tear of a building not well cared to.

Hazards

As it's on a busy street, neighbors are going to be the primary hazard. The building itself seems to hold up okay, however I will update the hazards once I access the POE.
