About this location
The final resting place of some members of the pioneer families who populated Osnabruck Township south of Newington, ON. One can still recognize names like Raymond, Zeran, Ottawa, Countryman and Helmer on the old headstones which have, in many cases, been arranged in a row and then replaced by newer markers. This cemetery is clearly indicated on the Belden Atlas of 1879.
