About this location
Chester Basin Elementary School was closed after the 1990-91 education year following years of declining enrollment (154 in 80-81, 73 in 90-91) and, apparently, some structural integrity issues. The roof has collapsed in the middle of the classroom wing. The interior is full of stuff and there are some interesting kitchen and lab relics gracing the foyer. The building is well secured.
