Putting this one out there with only exterior photos for now.
I believe this is an old water bottling plant. I only walked the perimeter this day, not sure if there is a POE. There's evidence of others trying to infiltrate this facility, like broken windows etc. Probably campers from The Gorge campground across the road. There's a door around back by the portable office that is either locked or rusted shut.
I've been watching this place for the past 6 years. Its been abandoned for at least a decade. There's a Sunshine Girl calendar in the office from 2000. The owner continued living here in the loft above the offices up until a year ago when he sold the place to Nestle, who have plans to revive the water bottling facility. Local residents are challenging this decision to prevent transport trucks from traveling this road.
A summertime approach would be more ideal with more coverage. It's possible the place is alarmed, but this is unconfirmed. I would love to see the inside of this place..

APRIL 2021- I (ishootthings) upped the LV to LV3. bruce_ree discovered this for our group run thru. Not a bad one IMO. Its huge. It can be a maze at times depending where you turn. Main floor feels like a basement. Id recommend a mask for this. And the second floors are DANGEROUSLY SOFT (reason for LV upping) so ya really gotta watch where ya step. Some parts of the second floor are collapsed. Items are thrown all over, and its so so strange that this was a water bottling facility, considering the lack of equipment needed to do so. Many many fridges.

After some research, Ive personally come to the conclusion that there WILL BE NO REVIVING THIS unless its a gut and redo keeping the shell at this point. [ENTER PARAPHRASING AND IT MAY NOT EVEN BE GREAT] Essentially, Center Wellington Township appears to have had no interest in the property, then about a year after Nestle made a purchase offer on the property and an unknown party also made an offer. Nestle had the right to reject that other offer and purchase the property outright. All thru this process they still hadnt received permits to pull some water from the ‘’source'', ‘’to determine suitability''. Nestle now and currently owns the Middlebrook Property and has received much resistance from the township all through the acquisition due to the truck traffic the new plant would bring and the fact that there are 2 wells in Center Wellington and the township projects a double in population growth in X amount of years, and is so opposed and the resistance to this site being used is ‘’unprecedented''. Shortly after the purchase of the property and the decline of the anonymous offer, it was revealed that that offer was from the Township.

I cant say if they have an interest in the property, to get it so that Nestle could not use it, or because they deemed it a very risky purchase, and knew making an offer would force the purchase and give Nestle a piece of land that probably had what they wanted, but never would be able to do with it. Its a tricky situation with this one and Nestle still tries to work with Center Wellington township to come to an agreement. April 2021, boarded, fenced off and collapsing. Not developed. First update(s) in 3 years and its hard to tell where the interior pics from the earlier album are from. As time passes, so it is that its worse. May have been some fire over the years to help accelerate the decay. VERY bad in many spots. Careful on the roof as well if ya go there. You can see from the inside pics of recent, its reallllllll baddddddddd. THE FIGHT CONTINUES…… But I cant EVER see this building being the victor of said fight. I wonder where the ‘’Source'' comes from and where its accessed if at all still possible. Means underground springs to me as I used to live next door to Aberfoyle and remember when Nestle bought Aberfoyle Springs water when I was in grade school. Huge deal. Lots of free stuff. People still hated them and clearly still do. Lots of controversy in the world of water. Im tellin ya.

This location is completely demolished now, nothing but a concrete pad and some rubble

There are mag strips on the doors and there is a motion sensor in a room with the ceiling mostly collapsed. Its hard wired to SOMETHING. I never noticed a box but I assume the mag strips are connected to the same system. Probably goes nowhere, but ya never know. Its VERY ODD that there was a sensor hardwired with power in a place such as that. As always, be on the lookout.

I'm so glad you posted this site! I've passed by here countless times and always wondered what its original use was. Thanks for the history!

Good big find. You must have no exposed sores on an inside explore with poultry. it may be long enough I am not sure.
