I was down in Oxford County this weekend with a cute friend and we both agreed to go check out the ghost town of Hawtrey. I was particularly looking to find the old tiny railway station in the trees there. We did find some nice abandoned places and even got allowance to enter the old General Store for some photos. Check the other entry under "Oxford County"..

On the way back we found an amazing abandoned farmhouse with a dumpster blocking its long driveway..As we approached my friend said, "Look at all this blood in the snow!"..I said, "No that must be mud".. I soon realized it was a little too red to be mud..

I looked ahead and noticed the blood followed a path up to the dumpster. My heart began to pound harder. As I looked at the side of the dumpster I could see about 4 feet of entrails dangling from the left side..

Farmer likely uses the location for dead stock pickup. The best part of dead stock is that so much of it is boiled down and separated into different products used in make-up and then woman smear it on their faces to attract men. Comeer honey, bring me those pig-gut coated lips of yours!

This location was pretty awesome, Its rather hard to get there without looking a bit suspicious, its miles out of town and there isn't a real place to hide your car. We took turns going in while the other stayed in the car.

Pig farmer? Funny...if you're trying to be covert in disposing of carcasses you could choose any spot beyond a treeline...why a dumpster is beyond me. Then again, I'm not a pig farmer.

It isn't the same pig lol...if clay found it in January and ddavidd's pic is recent, there's no way it would have remained intact. Plus, there is a lack of entrails with the second carcass.

Poor pig, looks like it died giving birth. On a positive note, it makes for a dramatic story! Great location!
