Stopped by here today. Looks pretty to easy access the buildings as most of the doors are open or gone..if it wasn’t for the fence surrounding this place I could have gotten a close look.. will be waiting for a POE
with a bit of looking there's some relatively easy access; be discreet. photos soon.
This place is not tightly boarded up with the addition of a barbed wire fence surrounding the area. I cant imagine anyone gaining access again.
OMG I just came from a visit with my Mom and found out that this is more then likely the hotel we stayed at in the mid 70's
and for the amount of intact glass inside it seems like my fellow chippawanian riff raff kids are staying away from it
love the new pictures, I won't dare go near it again after run in with the police!
insane bee and wasp infestation of the drive under port,I saw one wasp that I swear was as bigger then a hummingbird Does anyone know when this was abandoned or why? Also I noticed one of the outer buildings had a possible poe as one of the plywood door panels was half off but I was in flipflops and didn't dare getting close enough to check
Stopped in here last weekend....still locked up tight. There is no way they are renovating this place, it's in pretty rough shape and all boarded up.
They seem to be doing some work on this location. It would be nice to see it cleaned up and functional....at least the main building, anyway.
that is amazing, I'm glad you got in that main building! kinda creepy that someone might be living in there, did you happen to notice if the heat was on? I know it's still got electricity running into it cause he kitchen lights are always on so I can see the creepy resident taking the heating option.
i came here in the summer, and last summer but didnt get any pics, we stayed here in 2006 they have only open a section at that time, my dad and mom used to take the family here in the 90s it was great and clean back then, alot of memories here, i remember swimming in the pool.
I work at a resort maybe i can find a week spot .I don't blame you for wanting to get into this place it's got dare written all over it .
Thanks Photocbear. =) Rumour has it, there are motion detectors inside the main building. Although I can't confirm this, I'm sort of glad I never got to find out. lol
I was here back in the summer and shot some exteriors, no such luck inside so congrats! It is just as nasty as I thought it would be
Thank you, gs. I REALLY want to get into the main building now but it's pretty secure.
The shot of the smashed door with the room in the background is my fav but can only imagine (from the quality of your other galleries) what you would have done here with the regular camera!
Glorious shots of decay! Congrats on being the first person in the area to get any interior shots here at all. Photocbear tried as recently as August.
I've been waiting for a POE for this place for almost a year... I don't think it will be happening anytime soon.
Amazing that this place just let a tourist season go in such a prime location without opening! I've been keeping my eye on this place waiting for a POE to reveal itself into the main building. Nothing yet, but patience..... patience!.......
