About this location
A pioneer cemetery outside of Riverstown, on Highway 6, that eluded me until now. The Church Of The Good Shepherd Cemetery. Highway 6 is a very old and important road with so many pioneers to have lived and died, so close to it. There are a fair amount of people from Ireland buried here. Canada Company started to clear trees for Hwy 6 as early as 1820 and the official opening was not until 1920, now thats a contract!
