Not me. I actually have crap luck fishing here. But the road seriously is a paste of squished fish in the summer from others doing this with gobies here. 8 out of every 10 fish is a goby!

Its good to kill round gobies cuz i think they're an invasive species...but not to the road dammit..

... And now it has become a place to go fishing, and whip them onto the road to get run over by cars when all you catch are round gobies!!

Great shots GS!! I was here last summer and got some pic's but i couldn't get the inside shots like you did it was all boarded up .I'll post them for that different season look.

I drove by it about a half hour ago. It's confirmed. It has been demolished. All that's left is the foundation and the mailbox.

I've heard it was torn down about two weeks ago. Such a shame. Rather than sell it or rent it, they just destroyed it. Though, I'll have to confirm it, since it's possible the person who told me may have confused it with the recently demolsihed Playboy Mansion or the Porn Hoard. Despite going to Niagara College, I've never seen this house.

Welland's not the only town with 1934 views like this . Here is a larger Rail Roadhouse in Niagara Falls . You can even clearly see the turntable to guide the cars into it . Sad to say tho Salit Steel has completely flattened it. :(

The stone bridge is great! I think we have to do exactly what you started here: carefully pic through Welland and do a full inventory, area by area. There isn't much in the database, and for a predominantly canal-and-train-based old city, it should be loaded with "stuff".
