This part of the Kenneway Road does not meet up with the section that has the Kenneway ghost town. It has been reclaimed by nature, much like the Victoria Road north of Uphill.

the roundtable is there, such as it is, mostly just a hollow in the ground with some rotting timbers along one edge. You can sort of make out where it was, but not much to see.

I just did a photoshoot there, hehe. I always drove by the location and wanted to shoot there so I'm glad I finally did! The water is pretty dirty and deep, and while you can access it if you're stealthy, it caught fire a few years ago, so it's not as stable as it used to be.

best time to board it is in winter, when the ice is nice and thick. if you had a boat, i guess at any time.

The loft project began around 2009, so I am not sure what the current state is as I haven't been back. From what I can tell on their Website, they are scheduling occupant move-ins this year so while the structure looks very much preserved from the outside, I think it's quite different on the inside now: http://www.stinsonschool.com/

How deep is the water there? I've actually considered boarding that ship for more pictures! I see it all the time and have been resisting the urge to go for too long!

Has this place already been converted to loft apartments? Or is it still accessible to film? Eitherway..great find! Amazing pictures!!

Hi there! I uploaded a few pictures, but the gallery is not showing up for some reason. Anyway, it was a very fun and colourful location to explore. Very easy to access, but kind of an odd feeling to be walking hip-deep in the tall grass, not knowing what's underneath. :)

on picture 16 of 18 of phrenzee's album u can see a face by the basement door on the wall. Might be just stains that look like a face but i wanted to point that out lol

The original "La Grande Hermine" was one of the ships in Jacques Cartier's fleet. :)
