History

This was just another farm near the border of Thorold and Niagara Falls that ended up in the possession of Walker Industries. Their plan is to turn the entire area into a quarry for limestone.

About this location

This farm was located on Upper’s Lane in Niagara Falls. There were lots of belongings left behind, mostly bicycles and farming equipment. The only buildings on the site were two sheds and a barn. Everything was completely demolished sometime between 2018-2019.

Walker Industries is ridiculous.

Yeah, the most annoying thing is that after they bought the farm I grew up on, they realized they couldn't even mine there because of the gas pipeline that runs through the property lol

Interesting! I figured they were just waiting on the hold-out properties on the east side of that giant rectangle of land. That would be really cool if the gas pipeline puts permanent brakes on their whole plan.
