Active security, sensors, and cameras. Fun!
Toronto’s BMO IFL was a multi-purpose facility, serving as a hotel, conference & event centre, and corporate training facility. Built in 1994, the BMO IFL would only stand for 31 years before its untimely demise. A beautiful state-of-the-art facility, it included a heated pool, a gym, extensive hotel rooms, an enormous dining room paired with an industrial kitchen, office space, and much more.
The BMO IFL is listed at 26,000 square feet of functional space with 15 meeting rooms, an executive boardroom, and 31 breakout rooms, with many of the rooms boasting a view of the large courtyard situated inside the perimeter of the premises.
Social & Accommodations
The hotel had a whopping 150 guest rooms, each equipped with a queen size bed. The hotel had high-speed wireless internet and laundry valet services. In terms of social events, there were live entertainment options, a fireplace, outdoor gardens and patios in the courtyard, a grand piano (!), and more.
Dining
The dining hall was 3750 square feet, with a beautiful glass window that makes up the entirety of the south wall with a perfect view into the courtyard. The dining room accommodated for up to 220 people. BMO offered a variety of dining options, with an on-site executive chef and culinary team providing dining options including a full buffet, banquets, private dining, and even themed culinary events. In addition, the BMO IFL had a private full-service bar that served regional craft beers, international wine, cocktails, and more, with a games room and TV screens for entertainment.
