Big beautiful stone house hidden from the road, near Arthur. Real nice property. There was a family of 5 porcupines and a raccoon in the basement, the ma & pa were huge! So i pretty much skipped the basement. Got pics of them too :)
the address here is 8625 Line 4
Update - summer 2017, house is being restored.

Its true, its true, its damn true... House is being fully restored. Great to see with a stone house like this, but they didn't retain the stone fireplace. The men I spoke to were proud to be working on it. Will post pics later tonight..
Thanks for the intel URBEXwe. I'll have to check this out. This is one of my favourites..
This certainly must be popular, I've seen some non members of this site have gone here recently.
no critters thankfully. last thing i wanted to run into was a porcupine. lol
Indeed I do.. heh. Found an abandoned winterized cabin in the woods nearby too ;-)
"House is still here, I'm here right now. Wow what a nice place.. its perfect." You must know the frequency for the cloaking device.

Ya sounds like you may have missed it from how you described it in the PM. I'll confirm it this week.
When my GPS said "Arrived at your destination!" there was nothing but an open field. It is of course possible my GPS was wrong, so it's a good idea that someone else look. Please let me know if I'm mistaken because I would like to see this place :)

For real eh! Why would they do that.. the bastards! I'll be going this week.
Too classic to just demolish that place. Let's just hope it had it's cloaking device on.
Nooooo!! Your kidding! Dagnammit.. that was a beautiful house! I know the rest of the land was cleared and whatever else was there was also taken down as there was another foundation behind it. I'm gonna have to go check this out. Thanks kenndruuh.
Went by to see this location today and there's no sign of it ever even being there :( Changing status to demolished
Me too, actually i live in one in Elora. Built in 1871. But the exterior was covered over in patterned concrete.
Lol...i know, i'm not too fond of my username anymore, i wanted trailblazer but it was taken. I wonder if i can change it to just trail..
Thanks trailpro (I keep wanting to do an acronym for your name, but tp seems...you know...). We took a pass on meeting any friends with quills that day, as we were knocking down locations and the gravel pit was next! And as for furniture moving, I blame critters.
Nice set doom, i see you moved some funiture around to create some nice shots...Clever. I've started doing that too at some locations. Did you go in the basement? :-) I was around that area again today..
Rule of thirds applied on this day. I found 3 good ones on this road alone.
Thanks gs. I was so excited when i found it i could barely keep the camera steady from the adrenaline. I was very surprised it wasn't already in the database. I figured at least someone like doom or phrenzee had already found it :) cuz i've seen another one like this on here somewhere. Lucky me :)
Absolutely stunning house visually, and the wildlife really made this one stand out all the more! That shot of the four porcupines seeing only their feet is really neat.
