I totally agree with urbexchix. Now that I've viewed all my pictures, I realize just how much of the detail in this house I actually missed. Looks like a return trip for me!

The house has great bones and the location is amazing. I called about the house as well and met with the same...and the house is still posted for sale, the last time I drove by.

I'm going back soon probably just to photograph more of the exterior and the grounds...It's so exposed and there are so many joggers and dog walkers going by on Sanitorium I'm not sure I'd take a chance infiltrating!

I've known about it forever, but I have never seen the gate unlocked. Would love to get in and get a better look. :(

Funny thing... Look at the newer subdivision to the east and west of these houses... Notice how the road just STOPS at a fence where the property line is? The developers are just waiting for that last property to be theirs and the urban sprawl will continue. Ugh, makes me sick.

First abandonment I've seen that doesn't have a driveway. Must have been abandoned for a looong time!

Lol...I have the same snowblower and it is at least 30 years old. I am still using it.

where exactly is this place? is the map accurate? Ive tried to find this on several occasions

New gallery posted from a three week follow up to the burning. House is now rubble, 3 outbuildings remain. I did not bother checking inside them. Sad sight (site).
