A couple of my buddies dove the mine on Sept 17, 2011. They got to about 100 feet and then there was a white which ended up being a layer of hydrogen sulfide! So no going any deeper! Enjoy some pics!

This house wasn't boarded up because the property was listed as public, it was boarded up because an application for a demolition permit was submitted to the town and approved. Radio Canada headquarters (CBC French Service), to be more exact. The old CBC headquarters (Heron @ Bronson) was assumed by CSE (Edward Drake Building)... which would explain why the number of cameras around the building increased *after* CBC moved to Queen St. :)
