I passed by there in June '11, and the barn is demolished, but the silos remain standing. No obvious sight seen of the remains of the house or any other buildings. The Ministry's defense in the lawsuit is that they "probably" knew that a road building contractor dumped asphalt on the property a long time ago, but they said "they didn't know it was harmful at the time". The original bridge was constructed in 1899 by the Metropolitan Street Railway Company. I posted a link to another page with more info.

Too bad ~ this place could have been salvaged.
It was demolished in the summer.
I wonder if there is any money left in the safe??

A couple of my buddies dove the mine on Sept 17, 2011. They got to about 100 feet and then there was a white which ended up being a layer of hydrogen sulfide! So no going any deeper! Enjoy some pics!

This house wasn't boarded up because the property was listed as public, it was boarded up because an application for a demolition permit was submitted to the town and approved. This happened after the farm complex was declared to have no significant hertage value or interest. So if you want pictures, you better hurry because as of Sept 6, 2011 it has been approved for t

Phoned about this house in order to buy it but they were very rude and said it was not for sale anymore. Love this house!!

Radio Canada headquarters (CBC French Service), to be more exact. The old CBC headquarters (Heron @ Bronson) was assumed by CSE (Edward Drake Building)... which would explain why the number of cameras around the building increased *after* CBC moved to Queen St. :)
